Pho Shops: Spring Roll Kitchen

Spring Roll Kitchen is at Century Park Complex right by the Century Park Lrt Station. For those who are old school that translates to it was where the HERITAGE MALL use to stand.
Here are some stolen google pics of its indoor and out door decor

From the inside it is quite modern looking and looks fresh. It is quite a new establishment so everything doesn't have that dirty look yet like most pho places such as PHO HOA in WEST ED or even their DOWNTOWN location.

The outside is clean and fresh with lots of windows so you can see the people who are eating inside stuffing their face. IT is located right next to a chiropractor and orthodics clinic/ office which is great if you trip and fall on their dirty floor and need a doc. ( yes they do leave dirty dishes on uncleaned tables, it really takes away your appetite)

So I have gone to Springroll Kitchen probably a good 10 times. I go because it is near, convenient and the prices are better than any "white restaurant" . However, every time I go now it has been more and more of a disappointment . They at times don't even acknowledge your presence and you have to seat yourself and grab your own menu.Often times I see that they aren't helping any customers just milling around and not taking your order so I end up just going to the till and ordering. The portions are big but mostly really salty broth. The meat in the pho is mediocre in quantity and their

Bún bò Huế lacks OOMPH or any extraordinary qualities. ( unlike my fav edmonton pho

place CO DU HUE in the north side)

Their green onion cake was good though maybe because it was deep fried and it was actually fresh. (find this particular pic off of google. i didn't take any because I was too busy stuffing my face... note to self i got to stop doing that and start taking more pics .. but when you are friends with NON ASIANS they don't really get it when you wanna snap photos of their food before they eat.... SIGH)

this is their 5 colours which was around $13.99 it was pretty good I guess but not as much stuff in it as CO DO HUE.
This was when I went with Carrie and she got a rice plate. It tasted pretty good but wasn't super spectacular.
For some reason I cannot find any of the pho picture prob because it was not worthwhile or pretty enough to take. (mostly it was greasy)
For the price, and the location it isn't really worth it but if you really are in need and live south side near south gate or century park this is a place to go .... I GUESS
