Yeah we landed. Not much turbulence and pretty delish food has led to us being LESS grumpy then when we travelled 2 years ago to Beijing and Taiwan.
I went to the washroom in NRT and saw one of these. Super interesting hahaha and off course the washroom was a bidet.
you know you are in Tokyo when you see middle age men in skin tight leather pants carrying multiple bags.
This is the view for us to pick up our bags and hand in our cards where you fill out what you brought and where you came from and the reason for your trip. I accidentally put it in 2000 thinking it meant CAD but it was yen. That is about 20 some dollars, I bet they had a good laugh.
Our skyliner went quite fast but I was trying to take pictures showing the sun set quite early in Tokyo at this time it was around 5:50pm
I found a vending machine car and got some liquid for our dehydration. (note on the plane I drank equivalent of 10 cups of water and did a face mask and use hydration lotion... it is very dry on the airplane)Yeah yummy drinks and enough vitamin C for a few days =)
Night lights on the cabbie after we got of at UENO station. We had a few luggages so took a cab instead. Dustin forgot that they drive on the Right SIDE and opened the drivers door.. THAT GOT A FEW LAUGHS.
Our small but adequate hotel room. Bed is double or full at best and the room was big enough for the bed the room and the luggages we brought. our small washroom turning room only but YEAH BIDET and deep tub.
Our beer vending machine in the lobby.
YEAH we made it...
